STEM Class

Our November STEM class is all about exploring, experimenting, and discovering how things work! Children of all ages will participate in hands-on STEM activities inspired by the fall season and Thanksgiving. Some of our activities may include Leaf Chromatography Art, Floating Mayflower Ships, Turkey Nest Drop Challenges, Cranberry Raft Float Tests, and much more! Children will practice the STEM process by making predictions, testing their ideas, observing what happens, and trying again. We want children to understand that experiments don't always work the first time—and that's part of the fun! They will have opportunities to change their designs, test new ideas, and see if they can improve their results. Activities will be adapted for different ages and abilities, allowing younger children to explore basic concepts while older children can take their experiments a step further. Our goal is to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery. All materials are included. Come ready to predict, test, explore, and try again!
