Older Children Debate Club

🗣️ Older Children’s Debate Club

This class gives older children the opportunity to share their opinions, explore interesting topics, and learn the art of respectful debate in a fun and supportive environment.

Children will help choose the topics we discuss and will have the chance to choose a side—even if it isn’t necessarily the side they personally agree with! They will learn how to organize their thoughts, give reasons to support their position, listen to different viewpoints, ask thoughtful questions, and respond respectfully to others.

Debate club is a great way to build communication, confidence, critical-thinking, listening, and public-speaking skills while having fun with friends. The goal isn't about winning—it’s about learning how to express yourself, consider different perspectives, and have meaningful conversations with others.
